A young woman is sitting in a glass house at the city central square. She picks up her phone to answer a call. Her voice is amplified to the outside and her voice rolls out across the square.
They are talking about life and after a while start talking about work. She explains she has had no luck finding a job despite her efforts and her frequent visits to arbetsförmedlingen. ‘They tell me I have to speak swedish, but you all speak english, why is there nothing I can do!?’ she says, getting more and more frustrated. She paces the house as she tells her endless struggle.
‘I don’t want wellfare! I don’t understand why they won’t let me work!’ Her words bounce off the nearby buildings. People hurry past looking up into the evening sky.
